Attention Deficit

Time Management

Meta-Cognitive Therapy

A twelve-week group program with a single aim: time management, organizing, and planning, plus the anxious self-talk that kills follow-through. Here is the whole arc.

Session 1

Orientation

Reframe ADHD as an executive-function problem, not a character flaw. Set the frame and the shared language for the work ahead.

Sessions 2–6

Time & task management

Build time awareness, live on a planner or calendar, prioritize, schedule, and track your tasks. Alongside the tools, catch and challenge the defeatist automatic thoughts that quietly undercut you.

Sessions 7–9

Organization

Set up organizational systems for your spaces, your papers, and your files, then practice the harder part: keeping them running once the novelty wears off.

Sessions 10–11

Planning

Take a real goal and flow-chart it into its sub-components, so a big, vague thing becomes a clear sequence of small, doable ones.

Session 12

Consolidate

Summarize the wins, reinforce what worked, and lock the new habits in so they survive past the last session.

The first non-drug treatment for adult ADHD proven to beat a matched control group. Afterward, 47% of people dropped below the clinical line for inattention. Solanto et al., American Journal of Psychiatry, 2010.
